Ian Morton

Ian is a successful property developer that specialises in Commercial Conversions and has over 40 years’ experience in the industry. He has completed over 500 conversions which include many unusual and interesting buildings including around 30 listed buildings. Ian originally trained as a commercial interior designer and project manager. He created a design and build strategy and built his own portfolio, which is now worth over £7.4 Million. 

 

Over the years he’s converted Offices, Schools and Churches into Luxury Developments. These buildings have been developed and managed into different trading models: AST, S.A and Boutique Hotels for passive income. Ian holds his property for the long term. 

 

Ian has successfully attracted J.V. finance and business partners – the latest being a J.V. with a successful property manager with 380 existing single lets, together with angel investors he has attracted investment into the millions. 

 

He also owns an S.A. management company called, “The Collection”. 

 

These luxury properties are contemporary apartments set in heritage buildings. 

 

Ian is building a network of up-market S.A, holiday lets, boutique hotels and attracting other investors and S.A operators into the business. 

 

Ian hopes to help others on the property journey by mentoring, training and forming Joint ventures with other liked-minded people that builds on his success. He brings out of the box thinking and a vast experience of problem solving to create real wealth for cash returns and long-term passive income and legacy. 

 

Ian is a mentor and trainer for Progressive Property in Peterborough where he has built a reputation within the property community for being honest and reliable.

 

Ian started his pension journey over 32 years ago with Equitable Life! Then started a SIPP at age 25 and has experience of SSAS as a loan to his own company and then borrowed money from SSAS trustees and now wants to create a community of like minded people.

Time

  • 6:00pm - 9:00pm
  • Before each event we are meeting for an informal buffet early dinner in the Boathouse from 4.30PM.
  • We then make our way to the First floor break out lounge to network and meet all the attendees at 6.00pm.
  • Then we move to the event room at 7.00PM and has an introduction and meet guest speakers, guests are given an opportunity to introduce themselves.

  • £20.00 (incl. VAT) for tickets purchased in advance. Tickets on the night will be £25.00 (incl. VAT).
