Kim Hendle

Kim spent 40 years in the corporate world with the last 27 years as a Business Analyst and Project Manager involved in a wide range of Business Transformational, IT implementation or change projects worth multi-million pounds in the Banking, Insurance and Healthcare Charity environments, including Multicurrency platforms, Data Warehouse, Core System Replacements.

 

Following voluntary redundancy and was able to rekindle her longstanding interest in property and started her property education. Along with her then 21year old nephew they completed 2 years VIP Mentorship programme with Progressive Property in Peterborough, along with a couple of other training courses. Kim can be regularly seen crewing (helping managing events) and providing testimonials at events to give back to the community for the help and support she has received to date. She also owns a PA/Business Admin Support company which supports the day to day running of businesses, but her passion lies in Property.

 

In the 3 years of being in property, Kim and Tom have developed a small portfolio of 3 single lets and within the first year – took on their first development of a 3 bed, terraced house and turned it into an 8 bed all en-suite HMO for the young professional market which is a highly competitive strategy with demanding tenants requiring quality accommodation, all rooms were reserved within 10 days of being advertised. They are currently developing another 8 bed, all en-suite HMO for the young professional market.

Kim also become a property network host for PPN Northampton which celebrates its 1st anniversary in July 2019. Developing relationships is the key to success within the property world and through her connections has JV’d with local Deal Packagers as well as mentoring other investors/developers.

 

The property journey was funded by moving her Final Salary pension scheme firstly into a SIPP, releasing 25% of it to purchase 3 properties. Since gaining more education and following conversations with Kevin Whelan, her pension moved to a SSAS where Kim has been using it to provide Bridging Loans but is looking to move into Commercial/Residential Development following her SSAS TRUSTEE COMMERCIAL PROPERTY INVESTMENT MASTERCLASS training, the only specialised training for SSAS Trustee’s as well as to JV with other SSAS Trustee’s to develop bigger things.

 

Going forward with the SSAS Alliance Business Networking, Kim is looking to use her strengths and skills gained from her years in the corporate world, to help people develop and achieve their goals irrespective of the type of business they are in, Kim has skills, knowledge and contacts to be able to support you.
